This week’s workdays will be Thursday (5/29) and Friday (5/30)
Both days will be 9am – 3pm
Please let Sami George know what days you can help and if you plan to be there for the whole time or only part of the time.
If you haven’t heard or seen yet we did reach our goal of getting boardwalk to the dog beach by Memorial Day and all that’s left for that section is adding the curbing. I speak for all the Pike Lake staff when I say thank you for all the hard work you have contributed to get this boardwalk built, we are eager to start getting the next section done hopefully before the summer heat really picks up.
The goal for this week is to pull out the next section of old boardwalk and if the weather isn’t conducive to that we will build more frames.
Bring with you:
- Muck boots/ or shoes you don’t mind getting wet
- Work gloves if you have them
- Eye and ear protection if you have them
- Lunch/ snacks and water bottle
- Sunscreen and bug spray
