Elias Wilson is planning on hosting a second volunteer workday 9/26 inviting the Friends of Pike Lake and volunteers to help with staining and assembling new accessible picnic tables.

In spring we had a project proposal from the WI-DNR for matching funds for partnered projects. The Friends of Pike Lake donated $2,500 to match $2,500 from the WI-DNR. We ordered 13 new universal picnic table frames from that money. Last week there was a workday staining 30 boards and assembling 2 tables. We have 9 more tables to assemble and 20 more boards to stain.

Are there any more Friends of Pike Lake members or volunteers that are available and would like to volunteer some time with to finish up a good partnership project?

September 26^th 9:30am to 11:30am for assembly and staining at the Pike Lake Shop 3340 Kettle Moraine Road.
